Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a seasoned Quality Engineer to act as the primary interface for customer quality, ensuring compliance with standards and driving improvements across manufacturing processes. The role supports new product introductions, develops inspection plans, and leads corrective actions.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, 7+ years in quality within a production environment (electronics-focused), and strong knowledge of quality tools and QMS

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or technical field with equivalent (process) engineering experience.
• 6-7 years minimum experience in Quality in manufacturing environments (electronics-related).
• Knowledge and application of core quality tools such as 8D, 7 QC tools, MSA, SPC, FACA, etc.
• Good understanding of QMS standards (ISO 9001:2015).
• Strong background in problem solving, continuous improvement, audits, and GD&T (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key quality interface for customers and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Manage complaints and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
• Support new product introductions and develop inspection plans.
• Collaborate on corrective actions and lead quality documentation and process reviews.
