Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Garment Quality Control Manager to oversee the QC team and ensure product excellence from start-up to final inspection.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in garment/textile fields, 5+ years in QC with at least 2 in supervisory roles, and strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

You will lead inspections, perform root-cause analysis, coordinate with production and QA, and deliver quality reports to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Garment Technology, Textile Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least five (5) years of garment quality control experience, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, measurements, workmanship standards, fabrics, and common garment defects.
• Experienced in start-up, first-bundle, inline, and final garment inspections.
• Knowledgeable in root-cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and preparation of quality reports.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages the QC team and assigns inspectors based on production requirements.
• Ensures proper inspection of garments from start-up and inline production through final inspection.
• Monitors garment construction, measurements, workmanship, appearance, and packaging.
• Identifies recurring defects, conducts root-cause analysis, and recommends corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinates with Production, Quality Assurance, Merchandising, MPCD, and other concerned departments to resolve quality issues.
• Approves, holds, or rejects finished goods based on established quality standards.
• Monitors the implementation of corrective actions and quality improvement measures.
• Prepares and submits quality reports and updates to Management.
• Ensures that production and shipment priorities are completed without compromising product quality.
