Collins Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Tanauan, Philippines to lead Mfg‑Engineering support for new product development and production transfer. The role emphasizes DFMA reviews, process development, and SOP creation.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in manufacturing engineering, strong analytical and planning skills, and experience with Lean Six Sigma and ERP/MRP systems. This onsite position offers growth within a global aerospace leader.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, Process Engineering, or NPI in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in design for manufacture and assembly (DFMA) principles.
Experience in process development, prototype builds, manufacturing process design, tooling, fixtures, and equipment validation.

Responsabilités

Supervise team of Mfg‑Engineering professionals to support new product development for lavs 3.0 deployment.
Collaborate with Product Engineering, Design Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure manufacturing requirements are incorporated during product development.
Conduct DFMA reviews and provide recommendations to optimize manufacturability, assembly efficiency, quality, and cost.
Develop and validate manufacturing processes, work instructions, process flows, and SOPs.
Plan, coordinate, and execute prototype builds, pilot runs, and engineering trials to validate manufacturing capability.
Design and improve manufacturing processes based on product requirements, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets are achieved.
