James Cook University Singapore seeks an experienced leader to transform Student Careers, guiding career education, employer engagement, and student development. This role will drive a future-focused careers ecosystem grounded in Design Your Life principles.

Reporting to the Director of Student Affairs, you will lead strategic development, deliver innovative career readiness initiatives, and build strong partnerships with employers and industry peers to empower students for meaningful futures.

Qualifications

• Experience with Design Your Life or Life Design methodologies and coaching frameworks.
• 7-10 years of significant leadership in careers, employability, or student development in higher education.
• Strong track record in designing and delivering programmes for personal growth and future readiness.
• Proven ability to build strategic partnerships with employers and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic development and delivery of Student Careers initiatives.
• Embed Life Design principles across career education, advising, workshops, and student programmes.
• Build partnerships with employers, industry leaders, alumni and community organisations.
• Drive student engagement and graduate success measures.
• Lead, mentor, and develop careers staff while fostering innovation.
