What is the job?
The HR Manager, People & Culture is responsible for driving strategic HR business partnering, employee retention, and employee relations across assigned business units.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Directors and Operations Leaders to align HRBP priorities and initiatives with operations priorities and problems.
- Partner with Operations Leaders to drive effective performance management, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and addressing underperformance.
- Lead and develop the HRBP team, strengthening capabilities in employee relations, retention, stakeholder management, and strategic HR support.
- Ensure consistent HRBP practices and service delivery across assigned business units.
- Lead proactive employee retention strategies by analyzing attrition trends and identifying employee retention risks.
- Conduct regular retention reviews with business leaders and establish measurable action plans.
- Lead employee listening activities, including milestone check-ins and focus group discussions, to identify engagement and retention opportunities.
- Oversee complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary actions, grievances, investigations, and terminations.
- Provide guidance to leaders on employee relations risks, due process, and appropriate case management.
Qualifications:
- Expert in Philippine labor laws and HR compliance, proven through 3+ years of handling due process and terminations, statutory pay computations, government-mandated contributions, and DOLE/NLRC matters.
- Highly preferred with experience in BPO, shared services, or high-growth environments.
- Experience managing HRBP teams across multiple business units.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
