Job summary

OceanaGold is seeking a suitably qualified Manager - Community Relations and Development to lead the External Affairs and Social Performance function at the Didipio Mine, reporting to the Country President & General Manager External Affairs.

The role builds trusted relationships with communities, Indigenous Peoples, government and civil society, while managing social risks, human rights due diligence, governance and budgets to support sustainable development and the mine’s social licence to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related field; postgraduate is an advantage.
• Demonstrated capability in stakeholder engagement, community development, and social performance.
• Experience with governance, compliance, and partnerships with communities and government.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies aligned with standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with communities, Indigenous Peoples, government and NGOs.
• Manage social risks, human‑rights due diligence, grievances and land‑access matters.
• Lead community development programs, budgets, schedules and reporting.
• Provide strategic advice to site leadership and integrate social requirements sitewide.
• Lead, coach and develop the Community Relations and Development team.
• Manage departmental plans, resources, contractors and budgets to deliver outcomes.
• Maintain governance, records, reporting and regulatory compliance.
