Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Public Administration, or related discipline; postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum seven years’ progressive experience in community relations, social performance, external affairs, sustainability, or related functions, preferably in mining or major projects.
• Demonstrated capability in stakeholder engagement, community development, grievance management, social risk, compliance support, and partnerships with communities, government, Indigenous Peoples, and civil society.
• Amenable to report in Didipio and Makati.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies aligned with corporate and site Standards.
• Build and maintain constructive relationships with communities, Indigenous Peoples, government, NGOs and other stakeholders.
• Manage social risks, impacts, human-rights due diligence, grievances, land-access matters and community commitments.
• Lead community development, sustainability and social enterprise programs, including budgets, schedules and performance reporting.
• Provide strategic advice to site leadership and integrate social performance requirements across operational and project decisions through proactive leadership and strategic thinking.
• Lead, coach and develop the Community Relations and Development team.
• Manage departmental plans, resources, contractors and budgets to deliver agreed outcomes.
• Maintain effective governance, records, reporting and regulatory compliance
