Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services seeks a skilled CICS administrator in Metro Manila to join our mainframe operations. You will manage CICS MRO environments, set traces, and work with RACF security to protect resources across CICS components.

The role involves analyzing SMF data, generating shutdown statistics, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring reliable web services integration within CICS. Prior experience with SMP/E and problem determination is essential.

Qualifications

• Familiar with IBM/vendor sites for open problem cases and sending dumps.
• In-depth knowledge to do install work on SMP/E for CICS and related products.
• In-depth RACF security knowledge to install and maintain CICS security rules.

Responsibilities

• Create and port transaction/system dumps to vendors for analysis.
• Set traces (Aux and GTF) to aid problem management and determination.
• Produce and interpret CICS shutdown statistics to support growth projections.
• Understand CICS storage areas and adjust for storage constraints and future growth.
