Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-17 years of experience in mainframe development.
• Strong knowledge of COBOL, Assembler, JCL, CICS, DB2, and other mainframe languages and tools.
• Experience with z/OS, IMS, and VSAM.
• Experience with Agile development is a plus.
• Banking industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL, Assembler, JCL, CICS, DB2, and related tools.
• Design and implement solutions that meet business requirements and technical specifications.
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers and collaborate with analysts, QA, and PM teams.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and stay current with mainframe trends.
