Job summary

Stafflink Express is seeking an Acquisitions Legal Counsel Associate Manager to support M&A and strategic investments. You will lead due diligence, draft and review acquisition documents, and advise on legal risks with input from cross-functional teams across geographies.

The role requires a law degree with at least 8 years in law firm or in-house settings, strong drafting, time-management and collaboration skills, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law.
• Minimum 8 years of experience at a law firm and/or as in-house counsel.
• Experience in M&A practice with due diligence, contracting and corporate transactions.
• Strong drafting, time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to M&A and strategic investment transactions, including due diligence and drafting/reviewing agreements.
• Collaborate with M&A deal attorney, Procurement Plus V&A, Contracting and Legal teams across geographies.
• Draft and review terms of agreements in line with policies and applicable laws.
• Coordinate data room review with data room materials and agreements of target companies.
• Train team members and develop pre/post-acquisition checklists and processes.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and deal teams on legal and commercial issues.
• Ensure contract/subcontract compliance with company policies.
• Contribute to smaller engagements or larger, complex engagements.
