Job summary

Accenture in the Philippines is seeking a senior legal professional to provide support for mergers, acquisitions and strategic investments. You will assist in due diligence, identify risks, and help negotiate and review transactional documents in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The role requires coordinating with M&A stakeholders across geographies, drafting terms, and ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Law degree with a minimum of 8 years experience in law firm or as in-house counsel.
• Experience in M&A practice with due diligence and contracting.
• Ability to coordinate teamwork or work as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to Accenture’s M&A and strategic investment transactions, supporting due diligence and risk mitigation.
• Support key M&A stakeholders across geographies, including deal attorneys and contracting teams.
• Draft, review and negotiate terms of agreements and other documents for target/acquired companies.
• Collaborate with deal attorneys and Legal Integration teams on data room materials and key agreements.
• Train team members and develop checklists and process documents for pre- and post-acquisition support.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and deal teams on legal and commercial issues.
• Ensure contract compliance with company policies and resolves issues.
