Job summary

Multapplied Networks is seeking a Systems and Network Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on SDWAN deployments, Linux-based routers, and network infrastructure, with opportunities to contribute to architectural discussions and professional services engagements.

You will be responsible for Linux server administration, scripting, on-call escalations, and collaboration with partners to deliver secure, reliable networking solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Linux system and/or network engineer.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, including package management, networking, and core services.
• Deep IP networking knowledge and design.
• Experience with Bash or Python scripting.
• Experience with configuration management such as SaltStack.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in architectural discussions for deployments.
• Network administration of hardware, Linux routers, and firewalls.
• Systems administration of Linux servers.
• Write and maintain scripts as needed.
• Handle Tier 3 escalations and coordinate with vendors.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotation.
• Perform professional services engagements with partners.
