Socium - Teams Done Differently is seeking a Senior Linux Engineer with hands-on RHEL and AWS experience to help modernize enterprise infrastructure. The role emphasizes automation and reliable production operations across large-scale Linux environments.

You will manage Linux workloads on AWS, automate using Ansible and Bash, and support patching, security, and incident response while collaborating with global teams during cloud modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience with RHEL 9 or later in production environments.
• Hands-on AWS infrastructure experience and automation focus.
• Proficiency with Ansible and Bash scripting for infra automation.
• Background in ITIL-based support environments, ServiceNow familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Support and engineer large-scale Linux/RHEL production environments.
• Manage and troubleshoot Linux workloads on AWS.
• Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Ansible and Bash.
• Support OS patching, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and incident resolution.
• Contribute to infrastructure modernization as workloads move to the cloud.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes via automation.
• Participate in BAU support, ServiceNow tickets, projects, migrations, and changes.
• Collaborate with global infrastructure, application, and engineering teams.
• Support on-call/weekend activities when required.
