Job summary

WRS Health, a leading cloud-based EMR and practice management provider, seeks a Linux/AWS Systems Administrator. You will manage Debian-based systems in production, design AWS infrastructure, and automate operations with Ansible, Terraform, or AWS CDK.

You’ll write Bash/Python scripts, monitor with Prometheus and Grafana, support containerized environments (Docker, ECS, EKS, Fargate), and collaborate with engineering to ensure high availability, security, and reliable CI/CD workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional Linux system administration experience.
• Proven Debian Linux distributions in production.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, RDS, CloudWatch).
• Hands-on automation using Ansible, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
• Proficiency in Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
• Familiarity with networking concepts, firewalls, DNS, and load balancers.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of containerization (EKS, Docker, ECS, Fargate).
• Git version control proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and maintain Debian-based Linux systems in production environments.
• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS (EC2, IAM, VPC, RDS, S3, CloudWatch).
• Implement and maintain infrastructure automation with Ansible, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
• Write and maintain Bash/Python scripts to automate operations.
• Ensure system performance, availability, and security; address incidents promptly.
• Configure and manage monitoring/logging (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Support containerized environments and orchestration tools (Docker, ECS, EKS, Fargate).
• Collaborate with engineering to support CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Maintain documentation and version control with Git.
