THE ROLE

• This role is ideal for engineers with strong Linux administration experience who want to further develop their capabilities in infrastructure automation and advanced system security.

• You will play a key role in establishing operating system and application hardening standards, supporting migration initiatives, and contributing to the design of secure, resilient systems used in safety‑critical environments.

MAIN TASKS

• Design, test, and standardize existing and new tools and technologies, creating security‑focused baseline solutions and best‑practice guidelines for broader team adoption.

• Automate routine operational tasks and workflows using Ansible, Bash, and Python to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.

• Implement and maintain security hardening standards across Linux servers and applications to ensure compliance and reduce security risks.

• Collaborate closely with system architects and product teams to design and deliver secure, reliable, and resilient systems and solutions.

• Create, maintain, and deliver comprehensive technical documentation, operational procedures, and handover guides to support knowledge transfer and service continuity.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong experience administering Linux operating systems, including RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar distributions.

• Hands‑on experience with virtualization technologies such as KVM, Proxmox, VMware, or Hyper‑V.

• Experience with automation and scripting tools including Ansible, Bash, and Python.

• Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to independently diagnose and resolve system or performance issues.

• Familiarity with system security principles, hardening practices, and infrastructure best practices.
