Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) seeks a Linux Administrator to support and maintain Linux infrastructure across on‑premises and AWS environments. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills and collaboration with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced setting.

The candidate should have 3–5+ years of Linux admin experience, experience with RHEL/Ubuntu, virtualization, storage, and automation tools to drive reliability and security across critical business applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years of Linux system administration experience.
• Experience managing enterprise Linux environments (RHEL, Ubuntu).
• Experience with virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Knowledge of NetApp storage, NFS, and Rubrik backup/recovery.
• Bash scripting and Linux CLI proficiency.
• Networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, SSH, NTP.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience with automation/configuration tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes; Linux security and hardening."
• RHCSA/RHCE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade Linux servers (Red Hat and Ubuntu).
• Monitor, patch, troubleshoot, and tune system performance.
• Manage users, permissions, and access controls.
• Support physical, virtual, and AWS-based Linux environments.
• Manage storage, backups, file systems, and core services (DNS, LDAP, email).
• Administer HPC clusters, job scheduling, and engineering data tools.
• Ensure reliability, availability, and security of systems.
• Implement security best practices and vulnerability remediation.
• Handle incident management, RCA, and post‑mortem actions.
• Develop scripts and automation to improve ops efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering, network, security, cloud teams.
