Job summary

Envision Energy (Denmark) is seeking a Project Legal Manager in the Philippines to provide comprehensive legal support across solar, wind, and energy storage projects. The role interfaces with development, permitting, land, engineering, procurement, and finance teams to identify legal risks, draft and negotiate agreements, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide projects from development through close-out.

Qualifications

• Experience in Philippine energy regulations and permitting processes.
• Strong track record negotiating complex project contracts (EPC, PPA, land, operations).
• Ability to work cross-functionally with development, land, permitting, and finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance across the lifecycle of Solar, Wind and BESS projects.
• Review and draft project structures, contractual arrangements and risk allocations.
• Support land acquisition, permits, regulatory approvals, and regulatory compliance.
• Draft, review and negotiate EPC, O&M, EPC-related and land-related agreements, including PPAs and MOUs.
• Coordinate with project teams, regulators, lenders, and contractors to manage disputes and claims and ensure timely project delivery.
