Qualifications

• Lawyer/Bar Passer
• Must have a valid and current Notarial Commission
• Preferably with experience as a Corporate Lawyer
• Demonstrated experience in litigation, case evaluation, and settlement negotiation
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail for corporate secretarial and compliance work
• Strong legal research skills and with good negotiation and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Ability to work and stay calm under pressure

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts to meet legal requirements and align with strategy.
• Monitor compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal, regulatory, and reputational risks.
• Conduct audits and address compliance gaps.
• Develop and review internal compliance policies and controls.
• Attend hearings and coordinate with government agencies.
• Evaluate merits of cases and develop defense or settlement strategies.
• Manage docket of litigation from inception to resolution.
• Represent the company at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials; prepare witnesses.
• Pursue pre-litigation settlements and ADR to mitigate risk and costs.
