Job summary

A.C.T in Metro Manila seeks a Senior Lawyer to provide strategic legal advice across corporate, commercial, labor, and regulatory matters, manage risk, review and negotiate contracts, handle disputes, and support business initiatives.

The candidate should hold a Juris Doctor or Bachelor of Laws and be in good standing with the Philippine Bar, with 5–10 years post-qualification experience in corporate or law firm settings, plus strong drafting, negotiation, risk assessment, and regulatory

Qualifications

JD or LL.B. degree and a member in good standing of the Philippine Bar.
5–10 years of post-qualification legal experience, preferably in corporate or law firm environments.
Experience across corporate, commercial, labor, contracts, compliance, and regulatory matters.

Responsibilities

Provides strategic legal advice on corporate, commercial, labor, regulatory, compliance, and operational matters.
Reviews, drafts, negotiates, and manages contracts and legal documents to protect company interests.
Identifies legal risks and develops strategies to mitigate exposure and liabilities.
Represents the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, and dispute resolution activities.
Advises management on legal implications of business decisions and strategic initiatives.
Ensures compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
Coordinates with external counsel, regulators, and other stakeholders on legal matters.
Conducts legal research and provides opinions on complex issues.
