Job summary

PwC South East Asia Consulting in Makati, Philippines, is seeking a KYC Quality Control professional to independently review KYC profiles ensuring compliance with client policies and regulatory standards. The role focuses on QA, risk identification, and coaching rather than case production.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in KYC/AML operations, strong analytical skills, and leadership abilities to mentor teammates. Onsite work from Ayala, Makati is required with a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in KYC, CDD, AML operations or related financial crime functions
• Strong understanding of KYC regulatory requirements, client policies, and risk assessment principles
• Experience performing quality reviews, approvals, or second-line checks is highly preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills to promote high-quality performance

Responsibilities

• Perform independent quality reviews of completed KYC and CDD profiles prior to approval
• Assess compliance with AML regulations, client policies, and internal procedures
• Identify quality gaps, documentation issues, and risk-related concerns requiring remediation
• Provide clear, structured feedback to analysts to support quality improvement
• Document review outcomes, findings, and decisions in relevant systems
• Escalate material quality, policy, or regulatory issues per governance processes
• Monitor recurring errors and identify trends to support training and process improvements
• Participate in quality calibration sessions and team discussions to align review standards
• Support audits, client reviews, and internal quality assurance initiatives
• Collaborate with Team Leaders, SMEs, and delivery stakeholders to ensure consistent quality outcomes
