Job summary

Eurofins Scientific Services Philippines ,Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Solutions Engineer to join a major enterprise transformation programme in a highly regulated environment.

The role is hands-on, combining solution architecture, software engineering, and technical leadership with the core product team in Dresden and distributed delivery teams across Europe and the UK. Expected work locations: 2–3 weeks in Dresden, then quarterly travel for 1 week to Dresden, while working remotely.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise software development and solution architecture.
• Strong Java background (Java 11/17, Java EE / Jakarta EE).
• Strong PostgreSQL design and development expertise.
• Hands-on with Eclipse RCP, SWT and JFace; WildFly Application Server.
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Maven and Azure DevOps is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive solution architecture for enterprise applications.
• Lead technical design activities and support implementation across distributed teams.
• Contribute to modernisation of complex legacy systems.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure and high performing.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, DevOps and stakeholders.
• Support delivery throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Promote engineering best practices and architectural standards across teams.
