CloudDevs is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to work remotely for a Europe-based client. This role prioritizes candidates based in the Philippines with valid work authorization.

You will build shared infrastructure, write high‑quality Java code, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the project meets business objectives and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Several Years of hands-on experience as Java Software Engineer.
• Understanding of Typescript is a plus.
• Proficiency in micro-services oriented architecture and REST APIs.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL or DynamoDB).
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, Kubernetes, AWS ECS, Terraform, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code frameworks.
• Experience with cloud computing workloads and AWS storage.
• Strong commitment to clean code, performance optimization, and testing.
• Excellent English communication skills.

We are looking for passionate Senior Java Engineer to work in a remote setup for our Europe-based client. For this role, we only process candidates who are based Philippines and have legal authorization to work in the Philippines.

As a Senior Java Engineer, you will:

Job Requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Several Years of hands-on-experience as Java Software Engineer.
• Understanding of Typescript is a plus.
• Demonstrate a profound understanding of micro-services oriented architecture and the creation of extensible REST APIs.
• Showcase practical experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, notably PostgreSQL or DynamoDB.
• Have practical knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS Lambdas, K8s, AWS ECS, Terraform, continuous delivery practices, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks.
• Exhibit expertise in cloud computing workloads and storage operations, particularly within the AWS ecosystem.
• Uphold a dedicated commitment to writing clean code, optimizing application performance, and conducting thorough testing.
• Display excellent communication skills in English.
