Job summary

ING Hubs Philippines in Manila is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to design, build, and support advanced business applications within the Wholesale Lending domain. You will contribute to architecture, drive engineering improvements, and ensure reliability, security, and scalability of mission-critical systems.

You will lead by example, mentor teammates, and collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performing Java solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Java (Java 8 or higher).
• Experience with Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.
• Understanding of Microservices and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Experience with relational databases (RDBMS).
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and modern engineering methods.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and automated delivery pipelines.
