Job summary

FPT Software in Cebu, Philippines is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team. You will help establish design and coding standards, implement defensive coding practices, and review code from colleagues and junior developers.

You will work with testers to identify risks, write automated tests, and assist in test environments and end-to-end automation as needed. You will also perform manual testing and write efficient SQL queries across multiple tables.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of working experience as a Java Developer.
• Proficient with Spring Boot and Hibernate frameworks.
• Experience with testing tools like JUnit, RESTful Web Services and Docker.
• Proficient in Git and SVN version control.
• Experience with GWT.

• Understands version control best practices and patterns
• Work with testers in identifying key areas of risk and describing the corresponding test scenarios
• Write expressive and well-analyzed automated unit and integration tests if necessary
• Assist testers in the creation of test environments, and end-to-end test automation if necessary
• Perform manual tests as needed
• Writes efficient SQL queries, using appropriate JOINs to fetch data across multiple tables
