Job summary

Questronix Corporation in Metro Manila is seeking a skilled backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise services using Java and Spring Boot.

You will build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices, integrate with databases and external systems, ensure security, and participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and SDLC documentation.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum, and software development best practices.
• Knowledge of application security, authentication/authorization, API security, and secure coding practices.
• Experience with messaging platforms, Docker/Kubernetes, cloud platforms, or API gateways is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications and enterprise services using Java and Spring Boot.

• Support deployment, production troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis.
• Prepare technical documentation, API specifications, deployment documentation, and other SDLC artifacts.
