Job summary

The candidate will excel in systems analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design, collaborating closely with business units to ensure IT solutions align with organizational goals. The role covers end-to-end responsibilities from documenting requirements and creating functional specs to participating in design, testing (UAT, SIT), and post-implementation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• 8–10 years of proven experience as a System Analyst/ Business Analyst in IT-related projects.
• Strong background in working with business units to align IT solutions with business objectives.
• Proficiency in requirements elicitation, business process modeling, and system documentation.
• Experience in creating functional specifications, system design documents, and workflow diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for system enhancements and new projects.
• Conduct system analysis, gap analysis, and feasibility studies to recommend effective IT solutions.
• Partner with development teams, architects, and vendors to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
• Lead the preparation of process flows, use cases, and system documentation to support solution delivery.
• Participate in system design, testing (UAT, SIT), and implementation to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Provide subject matter expertise to business units and IT teams during project life cycles.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and best practices in system analysis and design.
• Support post-implementation reviews, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and provide ongoing system support.
