Job summary

PlayTime Entertainment in the Philippines is hiring an IT Support Specialist to provide first- and second-line assistance for about 180 staff across editorial, sales, and administration. You will set up and maintain workstations (Windows/Mac), printers, VoIP, and mobile devices, and manage access to Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.

The role also covers network upkeep, security patches, data backups, onboarding/offboarding, ticketing, and collaboration tools like Slack and Zoom.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of IT support or system administration experience.
• Solid Windows and macOS troubleshooting and configuration.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and VLAN.
• Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and endpoint management.
• Clear written and spoken English communication.
• Proactive, patient, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-line IT support to ~180 staff across departments.
• Set up, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, VoIP, and mobile devices.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
• Maintain office LAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, and firewall; coordinate with ISPs.
• Administer SaaS apps and cloud tools (Slack, Zoom, Trello, etc.).
• Perform system updates, security patching, and data backups.
• Support onboarding/offboarding (device provisioning, account creation, deactivation).
• Track and resolve IT tickets; maintain internal knowledge base.
• Enforce security policies including 2FA and encryption.
• Monitor for unusual activity and respond to incidents; ensure data privacy compliance.
