APW Tech in Ortigas is seeking a Senior IT Specialist / ICT Administrator to manage and maintain ICT systems, servers, databases, applications, and network connectivity onsite.
You will monitor performance, backups, licenses, and infrastructure health, troubleshoot issues, and lead implementations, upgrades, migrations, and security hardening. Collaboration with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders is essential, with strong documentation and advisory skills.

Manage and maintain ICT systems, servers, databases, applications, and network connectivity.
Monitor system performance, availability, backups, licenses, and infrastructure health.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, database, network, and application issues.
Handle system implementations, upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
Support system integration with other enterprise applications and platforms.
Work with vendors, technical teams, and business stakeholders to resolve issues.
Prepare technical documentation, system guides, reports, and implementation plans.
Support cybersecurity activities such as system hardening, patching, vulnerability remediation, and access management.
Provide technical advice and recommendations for system improvements.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience managing enterprise ICT systems and infrastructure.
Experience supporting security systems, emergency communications, business-critical applications, or operational technology.
Experience with system implementation, upgrades, migrations, POCs, technology evaluations, and system transitions.
Strong experience coordinating with IT teams, vendors, system integrators, and business stakeholders.
5+ years of hands-on Genetec Security Center experience is highly preferred.
Strong experience in system administration, implementation, troubleshooting, integration, and lifecycle management.
Knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Active Directory, virtualization, storage, backup/recovery, and networking.
Knowledge of cybersecurity, system monitoring, and enterprise applications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Experience working with vendors and cross-functional teams.
Certification Professional certifications relevant to enterprise ICT systems are desirable, including one or more of the following:
Genetec Technical Certification (preferred for the initial scope of work)
Microsoft Certified Professional or equivalent
Cisco, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent networking certification
Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent)
ITIL Foundation or higher
Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent project management certification
Cloud platform certifications (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) are an advantage.
