Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior IT Release Manager to lead end-to-end release activities, coordinating with DevOps, Engineering, and Support teams to ensure predictable, high-quality deployments.

The role requires strong ITIL governance, risk mitigation, and CAB/eCAB facilitation, with extensive experience in enterprise release environments. Onsite work in Pasig City is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in Release and Deployment Management, ideally in an enterprise environment.
• Deep experience with ITIL-based Service Transition Lifecycle.
• Strong background in infrastructure, application, or network systems.
• ITIL v3 or v4 (Managing Professional or Strategic Leader track preferred) - ISO 20000 / ISO 27001 (desired)
• PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile certifications are a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of IT Service Transition lifecycle, governance, and risk mitigation.
• Skilled in running CAB and eCAB meetings.
• Deep familiarity with JIRA Service Management.
• Strong communication and influence across all levels.
• Analytical thinking, with ability to assess risk and business impact.
• Familiarity with DevOps-aligned practices (e.g., Standard Change Models, CI/CD change support).

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end release management process.

About the role

The Senior IT Release Manager will lead the end-to-end release management process. Senior IT Release Manager will collaborate with DevOps, Engineering, and Support teams to manage dependencies and mitigate risks that could impact the release integrity. Senior IT Release Manager primary goal is to maintain the health of the release pipeline, ensuring that every release is predictable, repeatable, and meets the highest quality standards
