Job summary

VBank, a digital-centric rural bank in the Philippines, seeks a Senior Information Technology Manager based in Pasig to lead IT strategy, operations, and infrastructure for core banking systems and security controls. You will coordinate with stakeholders to align technology with business goals and oversee vendor relationships.

Responsibilities include monitoring system performance, ensuring regulatory and cybersecurity compliance, and driving continuous improvements across digital banking

Qualifications

• Leadership and team management experience in IT leadership roles.
• Expertise in IT infrastructure, networks and system administration in banking/financial services, including high-availability and security.
• Experience with core banking systems, digital banking platforms, and integration of third-party fintech solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of information security, risk management, and regulatory compliance relevant to Philippine banking.
• Proficiency in IT governance, project management, and process improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead VBank’s overall IT strategy, operations, and infrastructure.
• Oversee planning, implementation, and maintenance of core banking systems, networks, and security controls to ensure reliability and compliance.
• Manage IT teams and coordinate with business stakeholders to align technology with goals.
• Supervise vendor relationships and service providers; monitor system performance and resolve complex issues.
• Drive continuous improvement in digital banking platforms and internal IT processes; ensure regulatory compliance and data protection.
