Qualifications

• Leadership and team management experience in IT leadership roles.
• Expertise in IT infrastructure, networks and system administration in banking/financial services, including high-availability and security.
• Experience with core banking systems, digital banking platforms, and integration of third-party fintech solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of information security, risk management, and regulatory compliance relevant to Philippine banking.
• Proficiency in IT governance, project management, and process improvement methodologies.

Role Description

The Senior Information Technology Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Pasig, responsible for leading VBank’s overall IT strategy, operations, and infrastructure. This role oversees the planning, implementation, and maintenance of core banking systems, networks, and security controls to ensure reliability, compliance, and data protection. The Senior Information Technology Manager manages IT teams, coordinates with business stakeholders to align technology initiatives with organizational goals, and supervises vendor relationships and service providers. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring system performance, resolving complex technical issues, ensuring adherence to regulatory and cybersecurity requirements, and driving continuous improvement in digital banking platforms and internal IT processes.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience guiding IT professionals and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Expertise in IT infrastructure, networks, and system administration within banking or financial services, including high-availability and secure environments.
• Experience with core banking systems, digital banking platforms, and integration of third-party financial technology solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of information security, risk management, and regulatory compliance relevant to Philippine banking and financial institutions.
• Proficiency in IT governance, project management, and process improvement methodologies to deliver scalable and resilient technology solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ITIL, PMP) are an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced, digital-centric banking environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience dealing with BSP IT Technology Risk
• Strong vendor and project management skills.
• Must be willing to travel to Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, as needed for business operations.
