Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure professional in Cebu City to provide L1/L2 support for server infrastructure, Citrix, and daily system issues. You will manage patching with Tanium Patch, perform vulnerability scans, and coordinate remediation with owners while ensuring ITIL-aligned processes.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a proactive, independent work style; shifts including weekends/holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of IT infrastructure operations experience.
• Experience administering the Tanium platform (Patch module).
• Experience running vulnerability scans via Tanium Comply or similar tools.
• Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system.
• Hands-on OS/app patching at scale using Tanium Patch or similar tools.
• Knowledge of IT security best practices for end-user devices.
• Familiar with ITIL processes and best practices.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1, L2 support for server infra, Citrix, AVD, and day-to-day system issues.
• Troubleshoot incidents related to M365 & Exchange tools and productivity apps.
• Plan, test, deploy, and verify security patches across Windows/Linux systems using Tanium Patch.
• Coordinate with application owners to validate patch compatibility prior to deployment.
• Use Tanium Discover/Comply/Reveal to scan endpoints for vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation.
• Monitor compliance dashboards and generate reports on patch status and remediation progress.
• Document SOPs for patching and vulnerability workflows; refine processes for efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and escalate complex issues to L3 as needed.
• Maintain knowledge base articles and participate in change management activities.
