Job summary

Ericsson GmbH is seeking a Senior Engineer – IP SDN to lead design, deployment, and optimization of core IP networks and IT cloud services. You will drive end-to-end lifecycle activities, ensuring robust performance, scalability, and service reliability across managed solutions.

The role requires strong expertise in OSPF/BGP, data center fabrics, VXLAN, and load-balancing deployments, with experience on Cisco Nexus and related technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent; 2–8 years in IT field.
• Experience in operations within a customer service delivery organization.
• Willingness to work in a 24x7 operational environment with rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and troubleshoot complex IP networks (OSPF, BGP, LDP, MPLS, VRF).
• Work with data center topologies (Leaf-Spine) and Layer 2/3 protocols.
• Configure VXLAN/VLAN on Cisco Nexus and ensure high availability with VRRP/HSRP.
