Job summary

Virtual Construction Assistants is seeking a Senior Interior Designer and 3D Visualization Specialist. The role focuses on commercial interiors and residential fit-outs, combining space planning, material selection and advanced 3D visualization.

Applicants should have expertise in 2020 Design and AutoCAD, with a design or architecture background. A strong portfolio demonstrating concept development and collaboration with contractors is essential.

Qualifications

Degree in design or architecture; NCIDQ or comparable credential valued.
Experience with design-build general contractor, architecture practice or interior design studio; adaptive reuse and millwork.
Demonstrated portfolio with interior design concepts and full-space transformations.

Responsibilities

Space planning and concept development for commercial and residential interiors.
Create test fits, layouts, adjacencies and circulation to optimize experience.
Produce 3D models and photorealistic renderings of spaces from multiple viewpoints.
Prepare detailed CAD documentation using 2020 Design and AutoCAD.
Coordinate with project team on finishes, cabinetry and millwork, with attention to accessibility and building systems.
Assist with material sourcing, procurement support, and coordination of approvals and lead times.
