Job summary

DFI Retail Group is seeking an Active Directory and Windows Infrastructure Specialist to maintain and optimize our IT infrastructure. The role covers AD, DNS, NPS, DHCP, WSUS, and related OS‑level services across on‑premises and cloud environments.

You will design AD infrastructure, execute migrations, and support backups with Veeam and Cohesity. Familiarity with VMware/Nutanix/Proxmox, cloud platforms, and monitoring tools is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer/Information Technology or relevant course study.
• At least 5 years of Windows System Administration experience (AD, DNS, NPS, CA, DHCP, WSUS).
• Experience in Active Directory design, engineering and migration projects.
• Knowledge of cloud environments: Azure, AWS, GCP.
• Experience with backup solutions like Veeam and Cohesity.
• Strong English communication, analytical skills, and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and root cause analyses per SLA.
• Offer on-site and on-call support as required.
• Handle complex service requests per SLAs and escalate when needed.
• Monitor environments, review logs, and respond to alerts.
• Prepare monthly service utilization and availability reports.
• Install and configure complex software and server infrastructure.
• Develop scripts to automate admin tasks and improve efficiency.
• Ensure information security policy compliance and suggest improvements.

Server Infrastructure is under Tech Foundation, supporting all Operating Systems related stuff across DFI domains, likewise managing, Server Management both on-prem and cloud, Backup, Virtualization, Storage and Microsoft Services like Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, NPS, CA, WSUS, following both ITIL and Agile approach. An Active Directory Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for maintaining Servers, Tools, OS related Applications, and other Services under the I.T. infrastructure. Likewise, initiates improvements, deliver major and complex tasks and projects within the agreed services between DFSC, The Dairy Farm Group and its Business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform technical support, troubleshoot, and provide Root Cause Analysis on complex issues effectively and efficiently in line with the SLA required by the business.
• Provide emergency on-site support and coordination, and on-call support as required.
• Resolve and manage advanced to complex service requests in adherence with service level agreements.
• Monitor and review environments using tools, logs, and log analysis and respond to alerts by following procedures or escalating them.
• Review existing document procedures, records, and inventory.
• Review and define operating procedures used for day-to-day support, installation guides, housekeeping procedures, etc.
• Prepares complex and advanced monthly reports for service utilization and availability.
• Perform complex ad-hoc requests.
• Perform advanced to complex software installation and configuration
• Perform advanced to complex system and server administration and monitoring.
• Performs tuning to improve efficiency and to maximize the availability of server, storage, backup utility and process automation of software environments and the like.
• Creates scripts for monitoring and to automate administrative tasks.
• Provides improvement to any services under IT infrastructure.
• Ensure that information security policy is considered and always followed, recommends any changes to policy and approved policy changes are documented.
• Assist superiors and other engineers on other tasks and projects as needed.
• Train, KT and delegate tasks to trainees and associates.

Do you have experience as an Infrastructure Specialist?

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer / Information Technology or relevant course study
• Should have at least 5 years of solid Windows System Administration experience (AD, DNS, NPS, CA, DHCP, WSUS and the like)
• Experience in Active Directory designing, engineering and implementation like migration from old Forest Domain to new Forest Domain with Applications tied to AD
• Must have knowledge and experience in troubleshooting and administering Cloud environments like Azure, AWS and GCP
• Knowledge of Graylog, Zabbix, and CheckMK is an advantage
• Knowledge of Qualys Vulnerability Remediations
• Knowledge in Automation or Scripting
• Knowledge in Backup solutions like Veeam and Cohesity
• Knowledge in Virtualization platform like VMware, Nutanix and Proxmox
• Technical Certification is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English
• Highly analytical and able to resolve multiple priorities
• Strong attention to details
• Able to adapt to a fast-changing and multi-cultural environment
• A team player with a good sense of ownership and commitment
