Job summary

eData Services Philippines Inc. is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to own and lead the company’s legal function. You will draft critical documents, manage litigation, and advise Top Management on corporate strategy and compliance. Establish internal processes and leverage legal tech to streamline operations.

The role requires a Philippine Bar license and a JD/LLB with substantial in-house or corporate law experience, including IP and regulatory risk oversight.

Qualifications

• JD or LLB degree with a license to practice law in the Philippines.
• Experience as in-house/ corporate counsel or similar role.
• Experience establishing a legal function from scratch or with high autonomy.
• Proficiency in legal software, case management systems, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary in-house legal advisor to Top Management, guiding corporate operations and risk mitigation.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of contracts and settlements.
