Job summary

Permhunt is seeking a Senior Implementation Consultant to take ownership of technical delivery across client implementations in the Philippines. The role covers discovery, solution setup, go-live, and handover to Support, with a focus on complex ERP integrations and workflows.

The position requires 6+ years of experience in technical implementation or consulting, strong SDLC knowledge, and extensive experience with ERP integrations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Our client is an established software business delivering mission-critical ERP and workflow solutions to customers, with a strong focus on successful implementation, customer outcomes, and long-term partnerships.

They are looking for a SeniorImplementation Consultant to take ownership of technical delivery across client implementations, from initial discovery and solution setup through go-live, handover to Support, and project completion.

This is a senior-level position suited to professionals with 6+ years of experience in technical implementation or consulting. You will work alongside Lead Implementation Consultants and Solution Managers to deliver standard and complex implementations, provide technical direction, resolve complex issues, and help improve implementation processes and practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the technical delivery of client implementations, covering installation, connectivity, configuration, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Manage technical activities across multiple projects and ensure environments are delivered within agreed SLA and project timelines.
• Serve as the senior technical point of contact for complex or high-priority implementations, particularly those involving ERP integrations and business-critical workflows.
• Investigate complex technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and work with Engineering or other technical teams to implement effective resolutions.
• Define and improve UAT approaches, validating system functionality, business rules, integrations, and data flows against client requirements.
• Support successful go-live, hypercare, and transition to Support, ensuring technical issues are addressed and documentation is complete.
  
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Associate and Implementation Consultants through knowledge sharing, technical reviews, and coaching.
  
• Partner with Lead Implementation Consultants and Solution Managers during solution design, scoping, and technical feasibility assessments.
  
• Identify implementation risks early and communicate project status, technical dependencies, and issues to clients and internal stakeholders.
  
• Work with Project Managers to provide technical input into delivery plans, project timelines, dependencies, and implementation strategies.
  
• Contribute to internal technical standards, documentation, reusable solutions, and initiatives that improve implementation quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in technical implementation, systems integration, technical consulting, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, change and release management, system enhancements, and implementation processes.
• Hands-on understanding of SaaS-to-ERP integrations, with exposure to platforms such as SAP, NetSuite, Sage, Epicor, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Experience working with operational or activity-based data and integrating it into ERP processes related to payroll, billing, finance, or reporting.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, APIs, databases, and system integrations.
• Experience managing or leading UAT, production deployment, go-live, and post-launch support/hypercare.
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging with senior business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced consultants.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a practical and solutions-oriented approach to implementation challenges.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple projects in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Relevant certification in data/SQL or integration/API technologies is an advantage, such as DP-900, Postman, or equivalent certifications.
• Strong awareness of data privacy, confidentiality, and security requirements, particularly when handling sensitive information during system migrations, integrations, and implementation activities.
