Job summary

ALEC Technologies in the UAE seeks an experienced AV Engineer to lead the design, installation and commissioning of large-scale AV systems, including LED domes and immersive media environments. You will coordinate with media architects, lighting designers and content teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Audio-Visual Technology, Media Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in large-scale AV, immersive, or projection-based installations.
Proficiency with media servers (Notch, Watchout, Disguise) and AV control systems (Crestron, Q-SYS, AMX).
Experience with projection mapping, LED dome systems, and spatial audio setups.
Strong understanding of networked AV systems, signal routing, and video/audio troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, installation, and commissioning of complex AV systems, including LED displays, projection domes, and immersive media environments.
Collaborate with media architects, lighting designers, and content teams to create synchronized AV experiences.
Program and operate media servers, control systems, and networked AV devices.
Troubleshoot real-time AV issues during testing and live events.
Ensure AV systems are scalable, maintainable, and meet safety and technical standards.
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and contractors.
