Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines seeks an HS&S Manager who combines leadership with deep technical logic to bridge operational processes and regulatory compliance. You will lead plant-wide HS&S systems, investigate incidents, translate safety protocols for operators, and drive risk-based improvements.

A licensed engineer with 5–7 years in a large industrial setting or 10 years in senior roles is preferred.

Qualifications

Engineering degree and professional license required.
Experience with safety systems across large industrial settings is essential.
SO4, NEBOSH or IOSH certifications are preferred.
Ability to translate complex safety concepts for frontline workers and contractors.
Strong track record in risk management and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Leads and governs plant-wide HS&S systems to align with engineering standards and legal frameworks.
Spearheads investigations into high-risk incidents and process gaps, deploying systemic solutions.
Bridges plant management and floor teams, translating safety protocols into practical language for operators and contractors.
Conducts technical audits, risk assessments, and manages the department’s budget and safety metrics.
Oversees safety reporting systems and provides actionable insights to leadership to mitigate risk.
