Qualifications

10+ years of experience in hedge fund accounting, fund administration or financial operations.
Comprehensive understanding of hedge fund operations, NAV calculations, capital activities, and financial reporting.
Knowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS or US GAAP; flexible and adaptable to change; technical skills/systems knowledge (e.g. Peoplesoft) required.

Responsibilities

Review of monthly fund and business entity closing summaries.
Report and analyze financial data to be disseminated to clients and their investors.
Close monthly books and records of the funds to general final performance figures.
Interact with clients and Hedge Fund Services teams to understand funds activities.
Prepare financial statements for funds.
Work with external auditors to ensure accuracy of each fund's annual financial statements.
Lead end-to-end NAV calculations and financial statement preparation for hedge fund clients as subject matter expert.
