Job summary

Marriott Hotel Manila is seeking a driven Group Sales professional to proactively solicit and manage large group and catering opportunities with significant revenue potential. You will upsell events, collaborate with internal teams, and drive loyalty by delivering exceptional service across the guest experience.

You will build relationships, target key accounts, and develop effective sales plans to achieve revenue goals for the property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years in sales/marketing/guest services/front desk or related area.
• OR a 2-year degree in Business Admin, Marketing, Hotel/Restaurant Mgmt or related major; no work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Proactively solicit and manage large group/catering opportunities with significant revenue potential.
• Upsell packages and events to maximize revenue per opportunity.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers to enable future bookings and loyalty.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper handover for service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare proposals; assist in contract writing and customer correspondence.

Education

High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in the sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area.

2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required.
