Job summary

Seeker Agency in Manila is seeking a seasoned graphic designer to lead the visual direction for client projects from concept through execution. You will ensure work is on-brand, production-ready, and resonant across digital, print, and environmental formats.

You will collaborate with Creative Ops, Client Services, and Production to translate strategy into impactful visuals, mentor juniors, and stay ahead of design trends, tools, and AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in graphic design, ideally in brand experience, creative or events.
• Strong layout, typography and storytelling with a versatile folio.
• Experience prepping artwork for large-format print and events.
• Advanced proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Proficiency with Google Slides for pitch decks and templated decks.
• Knowledge of Adobe Firefly and generative AI in workflows.
• Familiarity with Claude for ideation and content development.
• Knowledge of spatial design for event environments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.
• Strong presentation of design rationale to stakeholders.

Profile Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a graphic design role, ideally within a brand experience, creative, or event agency environment.
• Strong understanding of design principles including layout, typography and visual storytelling, supported by a folio of work that spans concept to execution.
• Experience preparing technically accurate artwork for production across large-format print, event signage, temporary structures and wayfinding.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), with demonstrated expertise across print, digital and motion-based applications.
• Proficiency in Google Slides for the development of visually compelling pitch decks and client-facing presentations, including the ability to build polished, templated master decks for use across the agency.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Firefly and generative AI image tools, with the ability to apply these within a professional creative workflow to accelerate concepting, visualisation and asset production.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools including Claude for creative ideation, brief interrogation and content development, and a broader curiosity about emerging technologies and their application within brand experience design.
• Practical knowledge of spatial design for event environments, including signage placement and audience flow.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities within tight deadlines.
• Confident in presenting design rationale to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Highly collaborative, with strong written and verbal communication skills and a solution-oriented approach.

Core responsibilities:

Creative Craft & Direction

• Lead the design and visual direction of assigned client projects from concept through to execution, ensuring all work is conceptually sound, creatively strong, on brand, and production ready.
• Collaborate with the Creative Operations Director and broader Creative team to translate strategy into impactful visual outcomes across digital, print, motion and environmental formats.
• Develop brand-aligned visual assets including signage systems, pitch decks, illustrations, event branding and wayfinding, adapting design solutions across environments and channels.
• Incorporate motion design and animation into visuals where applicable, extending the storytelling and interactivity of brand experiences.
• Apply generative AI image tools to accelerate concept visualisation, mood-boarding and exploration, exercising strong creative judgement to direct, refine and integrate AI-assisted outputs within a broader design workflow.
• Present design concepts clearly and confidently to internal teams and clients, providing rationale and solutions.
• Maintain high standards of quality control, consistency and accuracy across all design outputs.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Bring original thinking to creative briefs, generating concepts and visual solutions that go beyond the expected and raise the creative bar across the agency's work.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, production and client services to align creative outcomes.
• Participate in client meetings to gather requirements, present work and provide creative insight.
• Partner with Creative and Client Services teams on the visual approach for new business opportunities and pitches.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support quality and efficiency across design production.
• Work closely with Creative, Client Services and Production teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality design work.
• Attend client meetings and internal and external creative reviews as required.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure accuracy and feasibility of design production.
• Actively contribute to timelines, status updates and workflow tools (e.g. Monday.com).
• Mentorship & Development
• Provide design oversight and mentorship to junior creatives.
• Champion design excellence within the Creative team.
• Share knowledge of current design trends, materials, production techniques and technologies.
