Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design and develop high-throughput SIP microservices across multi-site deployments. You will implement protocol translation and advanced concurrency models in Go, enabling fast internal SIP-over-ZeroMQ traffic.

The role requires deep distributed systems knowledge, experience with gRPC and RabbitMQ, and strong observability using OpenTelemetry. Collaboration with Networks/Infra teams is essential to ensure resilience and security.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of SIP/VOIP and related telecom protocols.
• Hands-on Golang (preferred) with proficiency in C/C++.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
• Distributed systems, multi-threading, and stateless proxies expertise.
• Experience with gRPC, RabbitMQ, and distributed databases.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Industry experience - 8+ years.

Responsibilities

• Design high-throughput SIP microservices in Go for multi-site deployments.
• Implement protocol translation from SIP-over-TCP/TLS to SIP-over-ZeroMQ.
• Develop advanced concurrency models to ensure thread-safety under heavy load.
• Integrate security, key rotation, and vault storage for cryptographic material.
• Work with networks/infra to define routing, monitoring, and end-to-end observability.
