Job summary

MicroSourcing is hiring a GL and Reconciliation Accountant to support timely closing of accounting records. The role involves preparing journal entries, bank and intercompany reconciliations, and collaborating with the Accounting Manager on close processes.

Applicants should have a accounting degree and 3+ years of experience, with strong Excel and familiarity with QuickBooks Desktop and Bill.com. Night shift commitment is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 3 years in general accounting, bank reconciliation, or month-end close.
• Strong Excel skills: filters, lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recurring and adjusting journal entries with complete calculations and documentation.
• Review general ledger for unusual or misclassified transactions and recommend corrections.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules and reconcile accounts to subledgers and reports.
