Job summary

ByteBridge is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to support US finance operations. You will handle GL activities, month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting, working closely with the US Finance team.

The role requires strong accounting fundamentals and the ability to operate independently during US business hours in a fast-paced, international environment. The candidate should have 3–5 years of GL experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, and

Minimum 3–5 years of GL experience and hands-on month-end close.

Responsibilities

Perform general ledger accounting and maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments, adjustments, and reclassifications.
Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
Reconcile bank accounts, intercompany balances, fixed assets, and other GL accounts.
Investigate discrepancies and resolve reconciliation items.
Assist with intercompany transactions and reconciliations across entities.
Ensure postings comply with accounting policies and US GAAP where applicable.
Collaborate with Accounts Payable/Receivable, Payroll, and other Finance teams.
Prepare documentation for audits and provide financial analysis as needed.
Identify process improvements for controls and reporting accuracy.
