Job summary

ByteBridge is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to support US finance operations. You will handle GL activities, month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting, working closely with the US Finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3–5 years of GL experience and hands-on month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger accounting and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments, adjustments, and reclassifications.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Reconcile bank accounts, intercompany balances, fixed assets, and other GL accounts.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve reconciliation items.
• Assist with intercompany transactions and reconciliations across entities.
• Ensure postings comply with accounting policies and US GAAP where applicable.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable/Receivable, Payroll, and other Finance teams.
• Prepare documentation for audits and provide financial analysis as needed.
• Identify process improvements for controls and reporting accuracy.
