Job summary

Western Digital in Biñan City, Laguna, is seeking a General Ledger and Financial Reporting Accountant (CPA) to manage statutory financial reporting, PEZA compliance, audit coordination, journal entries, and month-end close in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a CPA with at least 5 years of accounting/audit experience, knowledge of PPFRS and US GAAP, and hands-on experience with Oracle or SAP. Hybrid work arrangements may be considered.

Qualifications

• CPA required. Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• PPFRS and/or US GAAP knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Secondary Ledger for Local Statutory Reporting and prepare Segregated Financial Statements per PEZA requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditor and prepare audit adjustments, reports and schedules.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities; perform journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
