Job summary

Western Digital Storage Technologies (Philippines) Corp. is seeking a General Ledger and Financial Reporting Accountant (CPA) to manage statutory reporting, PEZA compliance, and audit coordination.

The role involves journal entries, reconciliations, and close activities, with system- and process-improvement responsibilities in a hybrid work setting. Requirements include a CPA, a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, at least 5 years in accounting/auditing, and hands-on Oracle or SAP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• CPA is required.
• At least 5 years of work experience in accounting and/or auditing.
• Industry exposure in Manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Hands-on technology experience with Oracle or SAP is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Secondary Ledger for Local Statutory Reporting.
• Prepare Segregated Financial Statement per Registered Activity as required by PEZA.
• Coordinate with external auditor and prepare audit adjustments, reports and schedules.
• Participate in the implementation of finance projects.
• Assist in PEZA registrations.
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Create journal entries in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP.
• Review trial balance and preliminary P&L for accuracy.
• Prepare Balance sheet reconciliations using ARCS; assist fluctuation analyses and monthly analytics.
• Participate in process-improvement projects in accounting and systems.
