Zusammenfassung

Abbott, based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Philippines, seeks a Senior General Ledger Accountant to perform end-to-end accounting for multiple entities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support audits.

You will collaborate with regional finance teams, manage intercompany transactions, and lead cost processes while applying IFRS/US GAAP in a complex shared services environment. Strong SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• B.S. Accountancy graduate; CPA preferred.
• At least 5 years of RTR experience in a complex, multi-country shared services environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP with the ability to apply technical accounting knowledge.
• Solid experience in balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis.
• Strong English communication skills; experience with SAP or ERP systems is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Perform journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments in compliance with accounting policies and standards.
• Manage intercompany transactions, confirmations and reconciliations with Abbott locations worldwide.
• Oversee fixed asset registers, capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
• Prepare financial reporting packages and trend reports for timely, accurate results.
• Prepare intercompany billing for cross-charges and analyze variances.
• Lead the annual costing process with procurement and local finance teams.
• Analyze cost variances and ensure proper cost accounting for inventory.
• Support audits and ensure SOX and internal controls compliance.
