Dole Asia Company Limited in the Philippines seeks a General Ledger Accountant to support financial reporting and month-end close. You will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure accurate GL entries and timely reporting.

The role requires IFRS/GAAP knowledge, SAP proficiency, and at least 3 years of accounting experience. Strong attention to detail and English communication skills are essential for successful cross-functional interactions.

Qualificações

• BS Accounting or equivalent degree; CPA is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years in general accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge, taxation laws, and SOX familiarity.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Record journal entries in SAP and ensure completeness.
• Perform weekly sanity checks on posted entries.
• Issue intercompany debit notes and reconcile balances.
• Prepare Balance Sheet, Income Statement, IFRS reports and backups.
• Assist annual close and maintain process documentation.
• Identify process improvements and support issue resolution.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
