Job summary

Abbott, a global healthcare leader, seeks a Sr. General Ledger Accountant based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Philippines. You will perform end-to-end accounting for multiple entities, ensure timely reporting, and support audits and process improvements.

Qualifications

• B.S. Accountancy graduate; CPA preferred.
• At least 5 years of RTR experience in a multi-country shared services setup.
• Experience in Treasury, Inventory, and Product Costing is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Proficient in balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis.
• Proficient with SAP and Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, data analysis); VBA is a plus.
• Strong English communication; able to interact with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end General Ledger activities and month-end close.
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations across locations.
• Oversee fixed assets, capitalization, depreciation and disposals.
• Prepare financial reporting packages and variance analyses.
• Lead intercompany billing and cross-charges with supporting documentation.
• Support audits, SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
